Using GenAI to support patient-centered care in healthcare

Initial Situation

Can AI strengthen patient-centered medicine? This is one of the key questions the labor team addressed. There is often uncertainty about how best to get started and what concrete benefits generative AI (GenAI)actually offers. Rather than experimenting aimlessly, the team wanted to develop a clear understanding of GenAI and systematically investigate its potential benefits for patient-centered medicine as part of the Tech&You event. The goal was to determine whether the targeted use of GenAI could sustainably change everyday medical practice.
