Initial Situation

Health literacy among the Swiss population has declined in recent years, with serious implications for the healthcare system. In response, a Swiss health insurer tasked us with developing innovative initiatives aimed at strengthening health literacy across different population segments.

Our Contribution

  • Researched and analyzed existing health literacy initiatives in Switzerland and abroad
  • Conducted ideation sprints to develop initiatives tailored to key target groups and prototyped the top three concepts
  • Calculated the business case, including investment and cost planning, and created a detailed implementation plan with required resources, partners, organizational structure, and a scaling strategy
