Initial Situation
To improve access to internal knowledge and increase productivity, the client launched a project to develop a secure, AI-powered assistant. The goal was to provide staff with an intuitive chat interface that allows them to retrieve information from internal documents in real time. Key requirements included full compliance with the client’s IT and security standards, on-premise deployment, and a self-managed document upload interface for administrators.
Our Contribution
- Designed and implemented a secure GenAI assistant using vector8’s Knowledge Base and Document Q&A Accelerator
- Developed a modern chat UI enabling staff to ask questions and receive contextual answers with source references
- Delivered a fully customizable admin interface for uploading and managing documents in various formats
- Deployed the solution on vector8 infrastructure for testing and handed over for on-premise delivery in the client’s data center
- Adapted the architecture to meet bespoke requirements, including specific compliance, performance, and integration constraints
